Is this not the true value of research for all? Like medicine, there is diagnosis and then there is empathic diagnosis Seem to me that I would hire an analyst and feel good about their employer if I could see first hand that they were clever, thoughtful and good to be with - hey like you or James Peter – when I used to buy research from Greenwich that tracked the performance of investment banks – the deep value came in the personal meetings where we went beneath the data.
