Pete,

As always, I appreciate your unique perspective on takeaways from SXSWi 2010. No matter what individuals say about the event, your post alludes to the undeniable value that comes out of SXSWi. I think simple proof of its value is the increase in participation this year over years past, especially when other event organizers are still struggling to keep attendance numbers up.

Whether individuals learn from this event, our industry certainly learns what's resonating. Ultimately, just as social business is about people, SXSWi is about people, and I think each of us needs to find our own value in experiencing the sheer overwhelming weekend of SXSWi.

Glad you appreciated my perspective on SXSWi.

It was good finally catching up with you a bit.

Best,
Heather | @heatherjstrout
