Few people at large &quot;command and control&quot; centered companies -- with longstanding legacy business cultures -- are equipped for the Social Business environment of today.

IMHO, it&#039;s not a skills shortage scenario, but more of a &quot;creative initiative&quot; shortfall -- businesses populated by &quot;employees&quot; who are schooled in closely following policies that were intended to limit independent thought.

Likewise, the typical roadblock to progress is &quot;unlearning&quot; the obsolete rules of how a business should operate, rather than merely learning the new concepts and associated tools that enable the transition.</description>
