Why We Form Alliances
Innovation should not stop. As a social business evolves, new vendors and partners need to be integrated into the overall solution to address new or expanded needs. Understanding what these options are and how they should fit into the larger social ecosystem is a core component of Dachis Group’s partner program. Our constant awareness of new innovations means that we can deliver the best solution every time.
Each organization is unique and a complete solution should be tailored to their specific business needs. Each partner is evaluated based on Dachis Group’s four archetypes of Social Business Design. This evaluation allows us to determine the best solution to suit the needs of our partners.
Ensuring continuity during a shift to Social Business Design takes true partnership with current technology and cultural environments within an organization. A strong alliance means that we can offer the full breadth of our solutions, but bring the right mix to bear for each environment.
Delivering complete social business solutions means not only strategic and operational solutions, but also recommending and deploying the proper software infrastructure to support the social business. We make software selections based on archetype fit and constantly monitor performance, meaning we can meet the needs of an organization from day one.

How We Form Alliances
From initial consultations to the final deployment and ongoing support, the right set of vendors can mean the difference between the success and failure of social business design. Dachis Group selects vendors based on several key criteria including Business Archetype Fit and Technical Fit. Final partner decisions are made in collaboration with Dachis Group clients and ecosystem members.
Business Archetype Fit
Dachis Group has identified four major archetypes which are the underpinnings of a social business. These archetypes provide a foundation on which partners and their solutions can be measured to determine the right fit.
- Ecosystem: Ecosystem solution partners provide tools that connect individuals, create awareness of those connections and allow those connections to be leveraged.
- Hivemind: Hiveminded solution partners provide tools that empower and encourage proactive sharing and collaboration among individuals on a variety of content and data types.
- Dynamic Signal: Dynamic Signal solution partners facilitate awareness of the actions of other people and systems and improve the overall flow of work.
- Metafilter: Metafilter solution partners provide the ability to find and use content, and allow the user to filter and understand the actions of other people and systems.
Technical Fit
Each member of the Dachis Group Technology Alliance is evaluated on their technical soundness and integration capability.
This is the criteria by which we asses the technical foundation of a partner’s product and delivery capability. It is a required measure of the vendor’s ability to deliver secure, stable and maintainable solutions to the customer and includes an examination of the management, quality, and security of the partner’s software product.
