Social Business Engagement Manager

We are seeking an entrepreneurial and enthusiastic self-starter who will help deliver social business design services to clients. You will work closely with your project teams and take responsibility for directing client engagements including structuring work approach and scope, project management, and deliverable creation and delivery. The perfect candidate will be high-energy and intellectually curious, with a strong interest in social business. You will need excellent computing skills, superior communications skills, and the ability to thrive in a team environment.

Main Responsibilities

Engagement managers direct project teams that consult with clients on strategy, process, culture, and technology. They are responsible for directing the efforts of consultants and associates, including research, analysis, development, and delivery. Engagement managers work closely with client executives to ensure satisfaction and implement strategic recommendations.

Engagement managers are the key point of contact on projects and build relationships with peer-level executives to ensure that investigation stays on target and recommendations are on point. They play a lead role in the business development process as a logical progression of their successful client engagements.

Essential Skills

  • Master’s degree required
  • Five to eight years of work experience in a management consulting capacity
  • Deep expertise in vertical and/or functional subject matter
  • Client-side experience highly desirable
  • Must possess a high degree of professionalism
  • Must be able to operate seamlessly within a client environment while managing project teams
  • Must have attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and oral – are critical
  • Positive attitude necessary
  • Potential for extensive business travel required
