Dachis Group Acquires The 2.0 Adoption Coucil

Acquisition provides access to an engaged community providing rich foundation for research and dialogue

AUSTIN, Texas, April 22, 2010 - Dachis Group announced today the acquisition of Austin, Texas-based The 2.0 Adoption Council, continuing the growth of the international firm and enabling engagement with some of the most progressive practitioners of Social Business inside large, global organizations.

The acquisition of The 2.0 Adoption Council offers a window into a community of over 175 active practitioners engaged in social business strategies, programs and tools. Dachis Group will engage, participate and collaborate as part of the Council’s authentic dialogue on the opportunities and challenges of social business.

Susan Scrupski will join Dachis Group as Executive Director, The 2.0 Adoption Council, reporting to Jeffrey Dachis, Chief Executive Officer and will be based out of Austin, Texas.

The 2.0 Adoption Council is a member-driven peer forum of business and IT leaders from large organizations intent on sharing concrete experiences, examining business implications, learning from peers and creating and capturing value from the emergent, unstructured data associated with Web 2.0 / Enterprise 2.0. The objective is to gain insight on innovative business practices using 2.0 tools, processes and strategies. Basic membership is free to charter members.

The Council is open to market leaders who are actively engaged in delivering a 2.0 initiative. The Council conducts research culled from the collective intelligence of contributing members, but the mission of the Council is to be a resource for ideas and inspiration for Council members.
